Badger Wilderness Guides, LLC (BWG), is an international outdoor education and private guiding service.   Our focus is providing a safe, enjoyable, and educational outdoor experience.  From mountaineering to orienteering, from backcountry paddling to Wilderness Survival workshops, BWG is committed to reaching its students and clients and facilitating a meaningful and memorable experience.  “Sua Sponte” or (of their own accord) is the BWG motto.  It is not enough to lead one through a wilderness adventure.  We are duty bound to also, pass on the necessary knowledge and skills for ours students and clients to be able to go out on their own in the future.  We believe that sharing our knowledge and that the thoughtful design of each of our classes or trips, facilitates “teachable moments” that provide an excellent foundation for any of our activities.  The BWG approach to outdoor education insures that students and clients understand how to set achievable goals, how to evaluate ones own abilities, and how to structure a safe plan to facilitate their long term goals in adventure travel.  A BWG expedition or clinic leaves everyone empowered with valuable skills and memories of a lifetime.
